Noise verification
Our noise labels are checked, not guessed.
To classify and verify each noise color, we analyze the power spectral density of the source audio and measure how energy decays across frequencies.
We use Welch averaging across FFT frames, then fit the spectrum in logarithmic coordinates to estimate the slope coefficient α that defines the noise color.
We also track the R² fit score to confirm that the measured spectrum actually matches the expected noise model with high confidence.
